The prices of written translation services provided by SIA "ZTBirojs" are affected by availability of the particular language combination, complexity of the text to be translated and an execution term.
There are language combinations in the Latvian translation market which are more available due to different reasons, as well as the language combinations which are more difficult to provide. Translations from/into the rare languages are more expensive because the company incurs higher costs regarding attraction of highly qualified and experienced translators.
The texts submitted by the customers may be of different character, from simple correspondence letters to business and investment plans. The fields of the texts to be translated also may have different degrees of complexity. Frequent use of specific terms of some particular field requires thorough understanding of the content.
Nowadays, time is a very significant resource and often there is a situation when a translation must be done urgently or even it takes holidays to cope with the time limit. In order to provide fast and urgent translations, translators and other staff of the company have to work overtime and even on holidays so that to ensure appropriate quality and high work rates.

There are various types of classification in the translation field as regards defining the volume of 1 page of the text: 1800 characters, 1600 characters or 250 words.
The prices of Tulkotajs.lv are given for 1 standard A4 page or 1800 characters with spaces.
The text submitted in .doc format shall be evaluated according to the following method:
Tools - Word Count - Characters (with spaces) shall be divided by the figure 1800. The obtained figure is the number of the text pages.
The text submitted in .pdf format shall be first converted to .doc and only then evaluated.
A particularly fast or urgent translation shall have an extra charge. This extra charge shall be defined individually in each case.
Regular customers shall have special discounts and other privilegies.
